About the Event and Silent Art Auction

Are you an artist or maker with a disability living in southwestern Pennsylvania?

We invite you to donate a piece of your art or a handmade item to our Silent Art Auction, part of the celebration for the 10th Anniversary of the Western Pennsylvania Disability History and Action Consortium!

Your contribution will help us spotlight the creativity and power of the disability community – past, present, and future.

πŸ“ Location: Heinz History Center, Pittsburgh, PA

What You’ll Receive as a Donor

  • Your artwork or handmade item displayed at the event, with:
    • Name card
    • Optional headshot
    • Short artist/maker bio
  • One complimentary ticket to the celebration
  • Recognition among a diverse audience of advocates, artists, and disability community members

Submission Guidelines

To ensure safe transport and display of your item:

πŸ“ Artwork: Max size 16″x20″
🎁 Handmade items: Max size 12”x12”x12”
βš–οΈ Weight: Under 10 lbs
🚫 Please avoid items that are extremely fragile or temperature-sensitive
πŸš— Pickup available in the 10-county region of southwestern Pennsylvania only
πŸ—“οΈ Submission Deadline: Friday, September 12, 2025
