The City of Pittsburgh is working on an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan to enhance accessibility across public spaces, programs, services, and digital platforms. This initiative aims to identify and address barriers to make public space, services, and digital platforms more inclusive for everyone.
The City is inviting feedback through a Community Engagement Survey to ensure the plan reflects the needs of those most affected. Input from individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and others with accessibility expertise is crucial to setting priorities and shaping effective solutions.
The survey touches on topics like accessibility to permits, fees, programs, and public meetings. Responses will be used to guide the City’s efforts while keeping personal information confidential.
