Rep. Dan Miller presents Disability & Mental Health Summit, 12th annual

We are looking forward to attending the 12th Annual Disability & Mental Health Summit, hosted by Rep. Dan Miller – a powerful, one-of-a-kind gathering focused on disability and mental health advocacy, resources, education, and empowerment in Western Pennsylvania.

  • Date: Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9, 2025
  • Summit Hours: Thursday from 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM and Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Location: CCAC Allegheny Campus, North Side, Pittsburgh

Now in its 12th year, this free Summit has touched thousands of lives and educated legislators from both sides of the aisle, while helping to inform families and working to increase opportunities for self-advocates across the board. Whether you’re a self-advocate, family member, educator, professional, or ally, there’s something for you at the Summit, including:

Thursday, May 8

  • 20 Free Informational Sessions on a wide range of disability and mental health topics
  • General Resource Fair with 150+ organizations
  • Assistive Technology Fair featuring a range of options for increasing independence
  • Legislative Panel, drawing legislators from Allegheny County and beyond to focus on disability and mental health issues

Friday, May 9

  • Futures Fair offering educational, employment, housing, leisure, and support resources for teens & young adults with disabilities

Be sure to stop by the Western Pennsylvania Disability History and Action Consortium’s table during Thursday’s Resource Fair (11 am – 2 pm) to say hello, learn more about our mission, and pick up some fun swag!

This event is free and open to the public — come learn, connect, and be inspired!
