ReelAbilities Film Festival Pittsburgh, Sept 4-6 in person at Pittsburgh Playhouse and Sept 5-11 virtual

About the Event

The Consortium is proud to be a Community Partner for the 13th annual ReelAbilities Pittsburgh film festival!

🗓️ Date: September 4-11, 2025
📍 Location: Pittsburgh Playhouse and virtual

Hosted by Film Pittsburgh, ReelAbilities presents award-winning films by and about people living with disabilities. The 2025 lineup includes 3 nights of in-person fun – including 2 feature films, a shorts block of 6 films, after-parties, an art market with artists from Creative Citizen Studios and Studio Forget-Me-Not, filmmaker Q&As, and more!

For folks who want to fest from home, the lineup also includes 4 virtual feature films and 2 virtual shorts blocks.

Accessibility

All in-person films are presented with open captions or subtitles, audio description, and ASL interpretation. Assisted listening devices are available at the theater. The venue has accessible options including wheelchair seating, bathrooms, and entryways. All virtual films have captions or subtitles.
