About StoryCorps

StoryCorps is committed to the idea that everyone has an important story to tell and that everyone’s story matters. Since 2003, StoryCorps has helped nearly 700,000 people across the country have meaningful conversations about their lives. These recordings are collected in the U.S. Library of Congress and in its online archive which is now the largest single collection of human voices ever gathered.

About the Mobile Stop

StoryCorps will be in Pittsburgh from May 30 – June 28, 2024. Mobile Tour participants will have the option to record with StoryCorps in-person in their mobile airstream or remotely in their “virtual recording booth.” Both options will be guided by one of their trained staff members.

This is a great way to capture your story, especially if you or your family member have a disability journey to share for the historic record!

Learn more and book your appointment with StoryCorps here.
